Ezyquip Hire specialise in plant and equipment hire solutions for the civil, construction and mining industries throughout Australia. With over 800 pieces of plant and equipment ranging from small excavators to D10 dozers, and with bases in Brisbane, Toowoomba, Roma, Dubbo and Darwin, we are committed to providing cost-effective solutions to the challenges of modern-day earthmoving.

About the Role

Due to substantial growth and workload within the branch, we are seeking applications for a Hire and Service Assistant to join our team in Toowoomba. This role is perfect for those with a few years of administration experience who are wanting to commence a career within heavy industry.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Basic administrative tasks
  • Data entry and maintaining databases and registers
  • Organising basic hire requests
  • Completing received /dispatch documentation
  • Organising received / dispatch operations
  • Identifying products and storing to specifications
  • Photocopying, scanning and filing
  • Providing support in the collation and distribution of documents
  • Screening and directing phone calls
  • Answering queries from internal / external stakeholders
    Other ad hoc duties as requested

About You

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • A minimum of 12 months administration experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • A current drivers license
  • An enthusiastic telephone manner
  • The ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
  • The ability to multi task in a busy environment
  • Experience in heavy industry or similar is desirable

Our team rely on each other for support during times of peak activity. We will provide you with ongoing training and development enabling you to assist our team of Service Coordinators. This will provide you with an opportunity to increase your skills and learn more about our fabulous business. Some of what you will assist with will include:

  • Ordering parts, products and materials for our workshop and project teams
  • Completing purchase orders and associated paperwork
  • Receipting and reconciling orders against invoices and following up any missing items or back orders
  • Other adhoc duties as required.
