About the Role
We have a rare opportunity available for a Maintenance Manager to lead, direct and guide the delivery of all maintenance activities. You will be responsible for ensuring our fleet operates seamlessly, not only meeting but exceeding our customers’ expectations.
This is not your typical role; our Maintenance Managers are pivotal in the day-to-day operations of Ezyquip Hire. From mentoring apprentices and tradespersons, to being a guru on machine diagnostics, trouble shooting and fault finding, to collaborating with our main suppliers, no two days will be the same. You are technically savvy; there’s little that you don’t know about heavy machinery and the support you provide to the wider business demonstrates this knowledge.

Some of your typical daily tasks will see you:
- Champion and role model our leadership behaviours and values whilst driving a strong safety culture. Everyone, including yourself, goes home safe and uninjured at the end of the day.
- Instruct, guide and inform your internal customers on fleet and equipment maintenance requirements. Your schedule is executed within acceptable timeframes and coordinated to minimise downtime and maximise utilization.
- Continually oversee and improve fleet maintenance plans, performance standards are monitored, documented and transparent. You contribute to growth and profitability through effectively managing warranty periods, reviewing and monitoring service and repair records, and proactively managing service schedules.
- Actively market the Ezyquip Hire business through networking opportunities. You are adept at developing and maintaining professional business relationships with various stakeholders.

- Passionate about the Capital Equipment/Plant Hire Industry. Your prior experience in heavy industry is a given; we will also require you to have an advanced knowledge of different equipment types and their capabilities underpinned by your Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification.
