Core Objective

The primary objective of this role is to ensure that all Ezyquip Hire plant & equipment is maintained and repaired in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner. This role is responsible for the provision of technical engineering and fabrication advice and support to the management and operating teams, and their clients as required.

The Boilermaker will accurately perform all duties with due consideration for Workplace Health and Safety requirements and regulations. This role is also responsible for providing workplace training and mentoring to apprentices across all functional mechanical areas.

As a representative of the Ezyquip business, the incumbent is required to present himself/herself in a professional manner at all times whilst conducting his/her duties.



    • Trade Qualifications in Boilermaking or similar
    • Minimum Current C Class Drivers License (Manual)
    • Current Construction Industry Blue or White Card


    • Workplace Health and Safety Qualifications
    • Emergency Response Training
    • Current First Aid Certificate
    • Electrical Test and Tag
    • Fire Extinguisher / Response Training
    • Operate Vehicles in the Field – Santos 4WD Competency
    • Heavy Rigid Vehicle License (HR Class)
    • Forklift and/or Crane Tickets



    • Demonstrated experience in heavy vehicle/ mobile equipment fabrication and maintenance
    • Proven understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practices and regulations
    • Advanced technical and mechanical skills in variety of plant and equipment
    • Proven ability to troubleshoot and problem solve complex mechanical faults
    • Well developed time management and organisational skills
    • Proven willingness to accept responsibility and act with initiative


    • 5+ years post trade experience
    • Previous experience in a field service capacity
    • Ability to provide direction and leadership
