Core Objective

The primary objective of the Service Coordinator role is to work closely with the mechanical team to ensure that the parts required for the maintenance of all Ezyquip Hire equipment are available at all times. The Service Coordinator is required to liaise with mechanical staff regarding routine and unique parts requests and source appropriate options. The role is required to perform all duties in a safe and productive manner, ensuring to maintain a high standard of organization and presentation in the workplace area.

Actively engaged and extremely responsive, the Service Coordinator will continually communicate consistent messages to the market, regarding the broad range and quality of Ezyquip Hire’s fleet. The incumbent is required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders in a professional and customer-focused manner. Integral to this role is the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with members of the Ezyquip team.

QUALIFICATIONS, LICENSES AND TICKETS

Essential

    • Current C Class Driver’s Licence

Desirable

    • Trade qualifications in heavy vehicle/ diesel mechanics or similar
    • Current Construction Industry Blue or White Card
    • Workplace Health and Safety Qualifications
    • Current First Aid Certificate
    • Fire Extinguisher/ Response Training
    • Heavy Rigid Drivers Licence (HR)
    • Forklift Ticket (LF)

SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE

Essential

    • Previous experience in heavy vehicle or plant industry
    • Well-developed knowledge of mechanical components for troubleshooting and parts coordination
    • Intermediate level computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
    • Intermediate level written and verbal communication skills
    • Understanding of various HME parts and relevant components
    • Ability to negotiate with suppliers and source competitive pricing
    • Extremely organised with ability to prioritise and manage time
    • Continuous focus on provision of quality customer service
    • Ability to develop and maintain professional supplier and colleague relationships
    • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities

Desirable

    • Previous experience in a store’s environment
    • Demonstrated skills in use of Baseplan (or similar hire-industry software)
