WHAT’S ON OFFER

- Field-based roster work in 3rd and 4th year;
- First three months of employment spent in Toowoomba, at our centre of excellence with our Leading Hand – Apprentice Development;
- One on one contact with our Apprentice Coordinator for the duration of your apprenticeship, to ensure your training runs seamlessly;
- Additional supplementary training provided, with opportunities to progress and advance your career to Leading Hand or Supervisor after apprenticeship completion; and

ABOUT YOU
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following;
- Completion of Year 12 (or equivalent)
- Cert II Pre Voc-Training, relevant to your chosen trade (for recent school leavers only)
- Diesel Mechanic – Certificate II in Automotive Vocational Preparation
- Auto Electrician – Certificate II in Automotive Electrical Technology
- Completion of relevant work experience in your desired trade (for recent school leavers only)
- Construction Blue or White Card
- Current Driver’s License
- Willingness to complete field based rostered work in 3rd and 4th year
- Willingness to complete a minimum of three months of employment in Toowoomba on commencement (travel, meals and accommodation provided for candidates who do not reside in Toowoomba or surrounds)
- Willingness to undertake aptitude testing
- National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to pass a full medical, drug and alcohol test, and
- Full work rights in Australia

Our 24-month trade upgrade program will provide you with an opportunity to learn from best in business tradespersons and gain invaluable experience on a wide range of OEM plant and equipment whilst obtaining your heavy diesel qualification.
