The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride
Last weekend, Ezyquip’s very own Alex Van Der Merwe finally got to take on The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride!
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride takes place across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men’s mental health on behalf of Movember, whereby men and women gather together to ride their motorcycles. Alex is a cancer survivor himself and is happy to report his most recent results came back cancer-free!
Alex took part in the Brisbane ride, riding his Harley Davidson Fatboy 107, as part of a group of 544 registered riders. The total event raised over $92,000, with Alex coming in 6th amongst all 544 riders from the $1,773 he raised, thanks in large part to the generous donations of many Ezyquip staff!
Well done to you Alex on your ride and you looked very stylish indeed too!
And well done to all who donated to this great cause.
